memory-foam mattresses
I'm currently in love with the idea of memory-foam mattresses.

Apparently a memory-foam mattress is more expensive than a regular mattress + a memory-foam overlay separately. This is the opposite of what one would expect from buying a bundled product (which is somewhat similar to buying in bulk) (also there are fewer fixed costs). I'd like to find out more about this kind of economic phenomenon.

I used to have a king size temperpedic and reccomend them highly! I checked out the various compaies and compared samples of the material.
Temperpedic was better definately.

I had to leave mine in Seattle but I should get a new one.

I don't know about the economics of it... just that they are quite expensive...
Although with a temperpedic you don't need a boxspring.

[info]amanda42 and I sleep on a temperpedic knock-off (Bob-o-pedic), and it's amazingly comfortable. I'm not sure what makes a big block of (special) polyurethane foam more expensive, but I suppose the spring/padding design is pretty cheap to manufacture, so $/m^3 is much less.

And we do have a boxspring, but I don't know that it's necessary.

Though Memory Foam Mattress is expensive but I had no problem at all with my sleep. I used to sleep on another brand mattress but Memory foam eliminated my all sleep problems. Memory Foam mattress has no comparision. Sweet Dreams come with a Memory Foam Mattress.

The article is concerned with the Memory Foam Mattress. It is usually noticed that the Memory foam mattress are much costlier than a regular mattress. This is exactly contrary of what one could expect from buying the bundled product. So, I would like to know much about this economic
matter and further suggests to buy a Memory foam mattress which is more comfortable.
