4:13a - lightning, shit weather, gay pride
Holy shit. I just got blinded by lightning... and I wasn't even looking outside. It was followed by very loud thunder, and the flash was almost as bad as being photographed with flash (something I object to in most cases).
This is about the 12th consecutive rainy day. I got drenched this afternoon, while I looked at the gay pride boat parade. Such is my summer...
And writing my thesis is my holiday...

8:32p - health & fitness update
Thu: fell while playing squash: skin-deep injury on right elbow, somewhat deeper injury on right hip (nice game, despite being asymmetrical; free sauna. injury only felt 24 hours later)
Fri: got a cold. Trying to placebo myself. (my immune system has been pretty good lately, so hopefully I'll shake this off quickly, unlike previous colds)
Sat: drenched in rain
Today: twisted my left ankle playing football (damn... first time I forget to stretch) (played reasonably well, ended up in an all-Brazilian team by chance)
